天呐，看得我心都要碎了。斯考特永远都不是麦克的归宿，因为他无法真正理解麦克，他拥有麦克一切没能拥有的东西，这让他的反叛成为了一场刺激的游戏、一件孩童般的玩笑，因此在遇到自己的爱人后，麦克又能决绝地背叛他精神上的父亲，chose life chose career，完成一个《猜火车》式的回转。而麦克呢，他像是《阿飞正传》里的无脚鸟，永远都找不到停泊的地方。他在最后望着公路想象世界上无尽头的路。这让我想起凯鲁亚克在他墓碑上写着“路即生活”，我们只能有路，我们只会有路。
